How can Leptospirosis be treated?

Very high percentage of kidney failure or even death were found.  How can it be treated?

Leptospirosis is susceptible to antibiotics.  Treatment consists of antibiotics and aggressive supportive care including IV fluids and medications to control vomiting and diarrhea.  In very severe cases, where the kidneys are not producing any urine at all, hemodialysis may be helpful, but it is used to treat kidney failure, not the lungs or liver.
